We depend on our diagnostic facilities to literally look "inside" your pet for answers that are not evident externally. The testing that is considered in a medical evaluation depends on the nature of the condition of our patient, your pet, as some situations are much more urgent than others.

It is important to remember that pets cannot express to us what they feel, and what they show to us may not accurately reflect the true situation internally. Therefore, reliable diagnostic tests are invaluable in determining the precise treatments that your pet requires.

Dr. Linda Johnson has completed several courses in ultrasonography, as well as soft tissue diagnostics at the advanced level at the Academy of Veterinary Imaging in Austin, Texas.  She is proud to bring the convenience and quality of an ultrasound machine to Clarkson Village Animal Hospital. 

There are many parts of the body that can be evaluated using ultrasound.  We offer in-house ultrasound imaging of the organs of the abdomen, as well as other services such as ultrasound-guided biopsy and fluid collection.

For your convenience, we also offer ultrasound in conjunction with the services of a board-certified internal medicine specialist, for expert interpretation.
