Our Hours

We want to ensure that your pet stays happy and healthy. Even though we are open 66 hours a week, there are times when your pet may need immediate medical attention after our regular hours. On these rare occasions, you are asked to call the Burgess Veterinary Emergency Clinic at (905) 637-8111. They are located at 775 Woodview Road, Between Walkers Line and Guelph Line, just south of the QEW.

The Emergency Clinic is open from 7pm-8am, 7 nights a week, and it is open all day on weekends and on holidays (these are the hours that the Clarkson Village Animal Hospital is closed). Any pets hospitalized until their 8am closing time are to be picked up by you and transported back to the regular veterinarian for care on weekdays.

Long gone are the days of "on-call" emergency service. No matter how late at night, or even on Christmas Day, the highly skilled critical care veterinarians and medical team are always present to provide your pet with continuous care. The fully equipped hospital allows them to quickly assess and treat your pet using the newest medication and technology.

At the Emergency Clinic, you can expect the same standard of care that you have known at our hospital, and achieve the same peace of mind.
