Jenna Lee Scheerle, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Jenna Lee graduated in 2012 with honours from University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus and attained Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) status that same year. She has been part of the Clarkson Village Team since graduating. This is a second career for Jenna Lee, as she graduated with honours from Olds College in 2004 with a diploma in Equine Science English Horsemanship and went on to work as a manager, breeder, trainer, and instructor in the equine industry in both Alberta and B.C.

Jenna’s dog Kidd is a 9-year-old female Sheltie/Blue Heeler cross. Kidd is her ‘other half’ and goes everywhere with her. She has a very busy household with Kidd and her 3 cats: Harry, Mary, and Lloyd. These kitties were originally supposed to be barn cats, but after Jenna fell in love with them she decided not to release them into the barn. On top of the crew at home, Jenna has a 7-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare named Robbie, who she bred and trained herself in the dressage and hunter/jumper disciplines.

She enjoys spending as much time as possible at the barn with Kidd and Robbie.

Jenna is close with her friends, boyfriend, parents, and siblings. She loves that her sister is also an RVT. She grew up in the Clarkson area and has been bringing her family pets here since she was a young girl, so it was an amazing opportunity for her to work with us at Clarkson Village Animal Hospital. Her specialty is surgical services.

Jenna enjoys how the clinic is ever-changing and she that gets to see and be part of the special animal-human bond.

“People do not pick their pet. Animals choose their human.”
