Tawnya Kerr, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Tawnya is a passionate lifelong learner and animal care enthusiast. She graduated from Northern College as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), and with a certificate in Companion Animal Rehabilitation Technician (CCART), with the goal of providing the best care for her patients.

She enjoys the fast-paced atmosphere of Clarkson Village Animal Hospital and sees each new day as a chance to make a difference in an animal’s life through compassionate care. And as a CCART practitioner, Tawnya’s knows all about pet recovery. She understands our furry friends’ physical barriers after they’re injured and how to care for them as they age.

When not at our animal hospital, Tawnya spends her time on her farm followed closely by Oscar, her high-spirited farm dog. If Oscar is not insisting on playing fetch as much as possible, he helps with day-to-day chores. In her downtime, Tawnya unwinds riding her horse Liza or by relaxing in the company of her feline friend Chloe.
